Feingold Hold Another “Listening” Session

Heh.

One woman in the audience wanted people who support health care reform to raise their hands. Feingold quickly cut her off.

“We’re not doing that today,” he said. “People came to offer opinions and ask questions. They didn’t come here to show support or opposition for health care reform.”

  1. I guess she didn’t get the memo. Health care is so 2009.

  2. Feingold was just concerned that someone might have seen him with his hand up.

  4. I guess Feinie has been taking arrogance lessons from the One. As to health care, the fat lady hasn’t sung yet. The Dems will still try to pass it.

  5. Why do you think his sessions are called “ignoring sessions”?

  6. Uh, wouldn’t showing support or opposition to health care reform BE offering their opinions?

  7. Yep - we forgot to use the wooden stake on the Healthcare Vampire…

They continue to plot the “Sidecar” through reconciliation

  8. Mom, after all of your goosestepping all over health reform what the people seem to need and want keeps popping up. Life’s a bitich ain’t it?

  9. Health Care “reform” is dead… all you’re seeing now in the press is a few Dems signaling a push for passage, because for them to say otherwise risks anger among the Democrat base.

Realistically, the votes required for passage dried up on January 19…  And believe it, there are a large number of Dems happy that Scott Brown’s victory let them off the hook.  What they know, and that others seem to ignore/mock, is that polls overwhelmingly demonstrate public discontent with “health reform.”

  11. The very fact that he looks at the majority of Americans who have made it clear in just about every way possible that they don’t want the Federal government shoving that sh*t sandwich down their throats as ‘goosestepping’ all over it, tells you all you need to know about how the Keith Schmitz’s of the world view the roles of government, and private citizens, in America today.

  12. Goosestepping?

Seriously Keith can you offer a comment without making a Nazi reference?

Why does Feingold need to hold listening sessions if he already knows why people are there?

  13. Neomom and Fred, the Germans are but one of many nations whose militaries have used the goosestep. Why obsess on the nazis?
