Fein Tunes

Sometimes when a politician attempts to look cool, they look like an idiot.  For example, do I really care what Senator Feingold likes to listen to on his iPod?  Let’s see, he voted for a ridiculous health care bill that is full of pork and would be incredibly destructive to our country.  His signature legislation restricting our freedom to speak during elections has been ruled largely unconstitutional.  He voted for massive deficits, tremendous spending, and tax hikes.  And I’m supposed to like him more because he digs Van Morrison?

Um, no.

  1. What, no “Taxman” (an obvious choice ...)?  No “Voices Carry”?

  2. Such vital information as iPod playlists is important in the upcoming popularity contests.

  4. I find the ipod info a tad bit more interesting than the two ham sandwiches in Scott Walker’s lunch: http://ow.ly/i/H66

  5. Feingold doesn’t “listen” to Van Morrison any more than he listens to his constituency, he merely “hears” him signing.

  6. @MichaelP: Wonder how much thought went into that picture from Walker?

Consultant 1:  Gee guys, can we really have the Dannon in the picture?

Consultant 2: No no, go store brand.  We don’t want people to think we’re Terrence Wall!  What about the bread?

Consultant 1: He’s not eating it anyway.  Go generic.  Processed American cheese for the same reason.

Consultant 2: Are people really gonna buy this?

Consultant 1: People will buy anything.  Look at that guy on TV late at night who wears the suit with the question marks on it and sells books on how to get government grants.  He’s doing okay.

Consultant 2: That question mark guy, he graduated from Marquette you know.  Our guy couldn’t finish.

Consultant 1: It’s a good thing conservatives distrust smart people then, isn’t it?

  7. Right back atcha

Scott, you posted a CNN interview in which an aide divulged the contents of Pres. Bush’s ipod, and goes on to make assumptions about Bush’s personality traits. Feingold posts it on his own website to garner goodwill from young people….

What do I think about feingolds ipod selections? Don’t care… ever.
