Even the AP Sees It

Wow.  This is from the AP?

Neither the acceleration nor the jobs goal are new. Both represent a White House repackaging of promises and projects to blunt criticism that the effects haven’t been worth the historic price tag. And the job estimate is so murky, it can never be verified.

  1. Yeah, “create or saved” was a masterful concept.  (if you have an audience stupid enough to swallow it)

What better way to remove any semblance of accountability from your policies than a benchmark that cannot be established.

Its hard enough to even establish why a job was created (was it government, or was it private enterprise who really gets the credit) but this “create of saved” is even a step back from that.  We don’t even have to have a new job created, now we have politicians who are going to take credit for NOTHING happening.

Well.  Obama promised us change.  I would have to say, going from taking credit for something happening to taking credit for nothing happening does represent change.
