Entering without a bang
My column for the
Daily News
is online. It’s called, “Entering without a bang.”
Nice article Owen and right on the money. As you state, we have the evidence of nothing happening in 48 other states. I am one of the many thousands who have open carried for over 2.5 years now without incident. Now, many thousands more law-abiding citizens will be packing. My permit arrived last week and it sure is nice to be able to just get in the car and go without having to worry about school zones. All of Wisconsin’s citizens will gain some measure of safety because of those of us who carry because the goblins no longer will know who may end their careers.

Filled out the application last Tuesday, got the permit in the mail yesterday (Tuesday). Surprisingly efficient.
