Employees Move to Decertify Union at Woodman’s

Good luck, folks

Union employees at four of southern Wisconsin’s largest grocery stores have filed a petition to decertify the union.

But whether a vote by more than 900 union employees at four Woodman’s Food Markets to kill the union takes place remains in limbo.

Hearings before the National Labor Relations Board are under way in Madison to determine if the petition is valid and if about 120 people on the petition are eligible to vote.

  1. I thought Woodman’s says it’s employee owned??

Makes one wonder what that means if 6 stores voted for union
recognition while or instead of being “employee owned”?
