  1. If you have to wear gold lame, hey, what do you have to lose? Rock it, man.

  2. There’s a great interview with the drummer here.

  3. In a former life I played in cover bands doing similar music.  I can tell you that if any of us acted like that… whoa.  There’s a difference between “rock out” and just being silly.  Dude here is so clearly over the line I’m surprised nobody in the band has been moved to have a little talk with him about it.

  4. I was surprised he didn’t completely suck…if anyone needs a talking to, it is the incredibly lame guitar player…man did he butcher a great song…..

  5. Had this drummer ever played with “Spinal Tap”, he would’ve surely exploded before the first chorus. And as a a guitarist of 27 yrs, I have to agree with Curt about the lackluster guitar.

  7. I think he’s (drummer) awesome, I also play guitar, and the guy (guitarist) wasn’t terrible… Just not quite the right rig for the song. ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons is a famous Les Paul player (his ‘59 is nicknamed “Pearly Gates”, right?), and he runs expensive effects and Crate amps. That guy is clearly playing a strat, probably through a small marshall with the gain knob cranked off, or with a tube screamer.
