I thought we were going to make “tough” choices? It must have been tough deciding how much to increase spending.
The proposed 2009-11 state budget holds general fund spending increases to under 1% but hikes by 10.7% expenditures from all revenue sources: from $56.7 billion in 2007-09 to $62.7 billion in 2009-11. The budget also seeks to increase state taxes by a total of $2.5 billion over the next three years, most notably on businesses, large and small; hospitals; smokers; investors; and higher-income individuals.
Well, obviously I can not believe any of this, as these factual numbers and precise statistics are coming from the evil GOP water-carrying, shadow organization that is the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance.
If you speak to any of the white wine drinking and room-temperature cheese eating masters of the universe at the Monona Terrace, you will realize what a complete fabrication all of this is, and how the mainstream media would be wise to simply ignore all of this partisan, hate-mongering, vitriolic bilge from the extreme Right wing of the Republican Party.
Jim Doyle was valedectorian of our online accounting class of 2002 before we went broke. Glad to see he is applying ENRON accounting practices in the state of Wisconsin. As a lawyer he can defend himself when the real truth comes out how he is spending our childrens and grandchildrens money. when Wisconsin files for chapter 11. Hope his famous quote ” I shall not, I will not raise taxes” brings him down in the 2010 governor election.
This is great news!! Jim Doyle is going to single handedly save Wisconsin’s economy by spending more of our money.
We should all bow at the alter of Jim Doyle.
We are better people just for speaking his name.
All hail the exalted one!
ONLY 10++%?
On a serious note, the Porkulus $3Bn won’t even cover his increase.
Wow.
The reality of all this is that handling money that is not your is the most easiest thing people do in high governmental positions.
Quoting a caller from the Vicki McKenna Show: “Time to flush the Doylet”.
