Doyle to Lead Peace Corps?

GOP3 is reporting...

Word on the street is that Democrat Diamond Jim Doyle will retire to lead the Peace Corps with President Obama’s blessing after bankrupting Wisconsin with all of his new taxes and irresponsible spending.

Thoughts?

  1. I think it makes perfect sense. When he bankrupts a 3rd world country nobody will notice.

  2. Good to see that GOP3 is finally hearing that rumor about six months after it first made the rounds.

  3. Yeah…heard the same thing at the GOP convention. They said he would announce by May 15th.

  4. Should turn into a really, really dark comedy with Ms. Lawton at the helm.

  6. I heard it early April…

  7. Ironic, isn’t it?  Considering the violence he’s perpetrated on the taxpayers and state government’s fiscal condition.

  8. Yeah, yeah, yeah…

We have all heard that Doyle was a prospect for this turd appointment.

There is nothing new there. Actual Governor’s have already filled important positions and Doyle is still begging for (I supported Hillary before that BO guy) table scraps.

What none of us knew about was the timeframe.

Based on the renewed rumors, we are probably getting close to that announcement, but he isn’t in such a hurry that he won’t sign off on this budget.

But, this is a teachable moment for parents. If you thought that the Peace Corps was a good way for your son or daughter to invest their time – you are stupid. Your child is a liberal and it is time for you to utilize basic math, simple logic and even watercolor as a form or art to bring your wayward child back into the real world.

Deal with this reality or forever be faced with trying to explain why the information they just heard on public radio is wrong.

  9. My thought he will wait to be judge. He wants to judge us and tell us what to do from the bench. Just can’t see Diamond Jim running the peace corps.

  10. He is getting the Evans Appellate seat later in the year.  The same people who are talking about this rumor (Peace Corps) are the same ones who were saying he wanted to be Ambassador to Ireland.  Both are utterly ridiculous.

  11. This rumor is months old.  Also know he wants the Federal Judgeship his father held.  The judge would be a paid for life gig and he’d be set up forever.  What will the recall efforts do if he’s not around anymore.  I’m still not totally on board with that either.

  13. Get rid of the bum. The sooner he’s gone the better we’ll be.

It’s just too bad that the recall effort can’t kick him out instead.

  15. The timing is perfect, gives the democrats enough time to pu together decent candidates for the primary. If Doyle stuck around the election would be a bloodbath for the dems.

  17. The advantage of Doyle going to the Peace Corps is that he won’t have to go very far to find a third world economy to set up shop in.

  19. Doyle aid says “not true”.

It must be a done deal then.

Doyle says: “We should not and I will not raise taxes.” Chumps.

  20. I didn’t say “not true”...his aid did, Chump. I think he’s gone. Just not right now.

  22. I didnt think anyone could use the words “Doyle” and “Lead” in a sentence anymore.  That was the cute.

But one has to wonder how far down the list of appointments Obama has to go before he finds something that no other living Democrat wants and he can throw the bone to his lap dog Doyle.

  23. This job would be too difficult for the Doyle Team.  The Peace Corp probably runs on a very tight budget and he couldn’t hack it with out his liberal tax raising house of representatives. Also, his union voters and Frankenstein veto.  The Peace Corp needs qualified leaders able to do a lot with a little money.

  24. And don’t forget….the job of Sewer Horse has also been filled.
Dang it….Doyle was such a good fit for that one too.

  25. Two people hope Doyle will leave. Kathleen Falk and Scott Walker.
