I, for one, have grave concerns about this.
After the closing of the Antigo plant, the Lowville plant will be the last remaining U.S. bowling pin plant.
What if a terrorist blows up that plant? It’s the only one. It would take months to get another plant online. Meanwhile, the shortage of bowling pins in America would be devastating.
For this reason alone, the plant in Antigo should be kept open.
I’d be more concerned about flood, earthquake, or tornado damage than terrorists.
What about the children? Where will they work when they graduate from the Antigo school system? Millions for GM in Beloit or whereever and not one penny for Brunswick? Doesn’t seem fair.
Do you mean to tell me they’ve let the strategic reserve run low?!?!
Put a red tux on Doyle…now that’s one big bowling pin! Then we could sub-divide among all the bowling alleys statewide. And talk about tax relief!
