“Did Barack Call You?”

If you’re not following the Blago trial, you need to be.

Also in his testimony, Balanoff revealed Jarrett knew Obama called him the day before the election about her being named senator.

The morning of the election, Balanoff said he had a discussion on the phone with Jarrett in which he talked about her wanting the Senate seat.

“Didn’t Barack call you last night?” Jarrett asked, according to Balanoff. “Well, I am interested.” He said she told him.

The sad part is that just everyone involved is a lying crap weasel.  But, then again, that’s the crowd in which Obama hung.

  1. Yay for politics and politicians!  I can’t wait to vote and get involved!

  2. I have been following this in the Chicago papers.  I’m awed by the transcripts of the wiretaps.  All the players discussing so nonchalantly who’s getting the payoff and for whom.  Like payoffs are standard operating procedure in the Illinois Democratic Party playbook.

Only a babe in the woods could think Blago was a lone wolf.

  5. A few weeks ago, when Belling was subbing for Rush, he speculated that the reason the administration was so slow dealing with the oil spill was that their attention was focused on this trial.

Within a day or two, the administration started ramping up their efforts.
