Okay, who has it? Who wants it? Who doesn’t want anything to do with it?
Decision Points arrived on my Kindle this morning, and I’ve read just a short amount so far. I have never in my life bought an autobiography of a living person before, but I was intrigued by some of the comments made in President Bush’s interview last night with Matt Lauer and bought the book during the show.
Saw it last night, too, and was going to order it. Do you like it?
So far so good. The first chapter is called “Quitting” and he writes about how he quit drinking at age 40 and how the previous 40 years had given him the tools he needed to do that.
Also got this morning on my Kindle and read the first chapter. It is well written and easy to read.
I like the way he is approaching this book. It’s focused on the decisions he made in his life (and in office) which is always interesting to see what information someone had before they made the decision and how they acted on it.
I pre-ordered it awhile ago and it arrived this morning. I’m really enjoying it so far.
From what I’ve read in the reviews and excerpts, he has done a good job of analysis.
It is a horrific job and none of them get it right all the time.
It’s amazing how much the job ages them
Bought it this afternoon, and am looking forward to reading it. ![]()
I downloaded the audio book from Audible.com today, haven’t had a chance to get into it yet.
Happened to catch on Oprah a little today and it looks like he is out classing everyone. I love it!
