  1. I like the message, but it seems like a really poorly done ad.  Actually, it reminds me of Lena’s terrible ad from the County Exec. race.
    Here it is.

Not that it goes over ten different things like Lena’s did, but all the switches of camera angles and stuff.  Just seems to me like a poorly done ad.

  3. You know, Owen, I’ve seen this folkblum guy pop up on other blogs. Who is he? Is he somebody important, or somebody who just thinks he is? He never seems to have anythink intelligent to say, other than moonbat talking points.

  5. When I first saw it earlier today I thought it was a really effective ad.  But then I started to wonder if I thought it was so good because I knew who she was.  If you don’t know who she is, which is what, 99.9% of the world, she is just a random woman claiming to be a former Hillary supporter who is now for McCain.  She doesn’t lay out her credentials as someone who was a delegate to the national Democratic convention, which would have given her some cred.  If you don’t read any articles covering this, or catch any TV converage of it and only see the ad it doesn’t have the weight I thought it did upon first viewing.

It is a neat concept, but it isn’t as convincing on the I’m a Dem voting for a Repub as Ziegelbauer endorsing John Gard.  Even though she comes across very well.

I wonder if it is more convincing to female Hillary supporters though.  She’s very suburban momish, maybe she sells that way even if you don’t know who she is.

  6. Apology accepted jimmyjack.  I’m sure you didn’t mean all those hurtful things, and they just slipped out.

Lefty, the ad isn’t for 99.9% of the world. It’s not even for most of the rest oft the .1% of the world.  It’s for the media (McCain’s base), because he thinks it will give them something to talk about instead of Democrats while our convention goes on.

  7. Now I’m confused. Is there another “Clinton delegate for McCain now” out there? One that looks much more like a 15 cat owning lady that’s about 60 years old?

I am pretty sure I saw footage of a gray haired lady ranting at a gathering via the MSM.

  8. Watching convention coverage last night, someone talked about this woman and the press conference she apparently held yesterday.

Apparently, someone asked this woman, “If you’re pro choice, how can you support someone who has pledged to overturn R-v-W?” and she responded, “I thought he was pro choice”?

I didn’t see the PC, but if it really went down this way, then she made Wisconsinites look like rubes.

  9. Boy the state democratic party handled this woman so poorly.  They have noone to blame but themselves.

  11. “Boy the state democratic party handled this woman so poorly.”

What in the world do you expect? Red carpet treatment?

Nothing like glorifying someone who doesn’t know what she is talking about. It’s just breathtaking to think someone like this is active in politics.

  12. By the way, a lot of Republicans will be voting Barack Obama. Either what, I have a problem figuring out what this matters.

  13. Prove it Keith.

We keep hearing about Obamacans but I firmly believe there are more McCainocrats.

  15. Keith,

You made the claim.  Back it up.  I’d like to see too.

  16. A google search has not turned up much. I did hear Andrew Kohut this afternoon in Denver and he said Obama is strong in attracting change voters except in one category—older, non-college educated blue collars.

But after Hillary’s speech tonight that may change.
