I can’t believe that I’m going to praise Hillary Clinton, but that’s a classy reaction.
“We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin’s historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain,” Clinton, the first woman to win a presidential primary, said in the statement. “While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.”
Maybe Geraldine Ferraro isn’t as “classy”, but I enjoyed her “digs” at the Obama campaign and the DNC in this video:

Where’s the historic part? First time a woman has ever been on a GOP ticket? That’s kind of a fun fact if you’re a Republican, I guess…
