Clinton Secures Millions in Taxpayer Dollars for Donor

Maybe she’ll have to step aside too, eh?

An upstate New York developer donated $100,000 to former President Bill Clinton’s foundation in November 2004, around the same time that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton helped secure millions of dollars in federal assistance for the businessman’s mall project.

Mrs. Clinton helped enact legislation allowing the developer, Robert J. Congel, to use tax-exempt bonds to help finance the construction of the Destiny USA entertainment and shopping complex, an expansion of the Carousel Center in Syracuse.

Mrs. Clinton also helped secure a provision in a highway bill that set aside $5 million for Destiny USA roadway construction.

Yeah, don’t count on it.

  4. When one Party (and their nominee) made it a centerpiece of their agenda and their supporters invested so much hope in their message of change, the glass house should only be too brittle…

  6. Look at the common thread here.  Rahm, Richardson, Hillary.

    The Clinton administration was filled with unethical folks, starting at the top with Hillary asking Craig the bouncer to bring those 1,000 FBI files on GOP people over to the White House (“how did these get here on the dining room table next to my toll house cookies!).

    Obama needed to make a clean break from Clinton.  These clowns are dragging him down.

  8. Steve Austin is right, Obama would gain some credibility and support by removing the Clintons from his team.  Dirty, dirty people.
