54 out of 60 for me, largely because I’m woefully underversed in economics, and missed 3 of the last 10.
Only three wrong for me! But, yep, in economics. Odd that so much coverage has called this a history quiz. It’s also philosophy, economics, political science, etc. Calling it a civics test, as its originator and Owen do, is much more descriptive.
And it sure wasn’t easy—as I was, to explain my score, a history major. And I took a course in basic philosophy since, covering just these classics. But how I wish I had taken an econ class in college—as I realized too late, when I found myself in the business sector, so I took a quick course.
So in business terms, the bottom line of this test is that a six-week noncredit course in anything is not enough to make it past more than a few basic questions, at least for me.
I have not taken a single course in philosphy and am in high school but managed a 55. Yay!
