  1. Has Christie apologized to the NJ tax payers for sticking them with a $271 million bill for being a pompous ass yet?  I hope Walker pays attention to that, because he already owes Milwaukee County several, and is sure to owe the state even more.

  2. hmmm… pay a $271M “penalty” or an over-run of $1-5Billion plus operating expenses…

Only with liberal math could one think the former is worse than the latter.

  3. Mmm, they’ll still be doling out the money, someone else will benefit, and then New Jersey can pay even more.  Only a conservative could walk away thinking they won.

Nope, not at all. The game is set up so the taxpayers are always losers.

Why assume that there will be an overrun? Does Christie know that he cannot hire competent people to run the project?

The operating expenses are part of NJTransit costs. With the added tunnels, their operating costs would decrease from decreased delays.

  6. Chris Christie—the libs worst nightmare.  A conservative who actually governs the way he promised the people that elected him rather than cave to the union special interests at the Statehouse once in office.

  7. I like Walker and voted for him, but I suspect he wouldn’t have Christie’s comedic timing.

  12. Eh. I’m not sure Christie is ready. I want a person with executive experience who has had to make a payroll and make hard decisions. I don’t think I want a smooth-talking lawyer/politician this next time. Maybe he’ll change my mind, but at this point, I’m not convinced.

  13. Crapper just can’t stand that his Union brothers are getting what is coming to them.  GAWD I love it.  Moochers and Takers in NJ are on notice.

  14. Christie may be great on fiscal issues.  Word is he is very anti 2nd amendment.  Can anyone confirm or deny?
