Capper Gets a Little Mixed Up

Oh this is too rich.  Capper decides to get all huffy about this:

The company that put together Senator Taylor’s ad was the same group that did the Fair Wisconsin ads. The company that did Walker’s ads was the same company that did Steve Forbes ads, and they’re based in Chicago. (Local companies must not be good enough for Walker. Way to support your county, Scott!)

But Patrick at Badger Blogger finds out the truth.

The claim is, “The company that did Walker’s ads was the same company that did Steve Forbes ads, and they’re based in Chicago.” Well, the fact is, Scott Walker is using a man named Bill Eisner, he is the founder of a company named Nonbox, and he is based right here in Hales Corners Wisconsin. Yes, that IS in Milwaukee County. You can click here and see his address on his website. By the way, they did do the Forbes ads too, so he gets a half point for that.

Apparently Lena Taylor isn’t the only one that is completely and utterly confused, because, although Hales Corners is on the South Side of Milwaukee, it is not in Chicago… However, Lena Taylor’s ad company website clearly shows that they are in fact based in Chicago Ill.

So, it is not Scott Walker that is dissing local companies, it is Lena Taylor that has gone for the Chicago company to run her ad campaign… Way to support your county, ahh, Lena.

I look forward to seeing capper criticize Lena Taylor for using a Chicago ad company.  After all, it would be intellectually dishonest if he didn’t, don’t you think?

  1. I’m sure Capper will rip her for this just after he rips her for canceling another appearance, this time with high school students... I’m sure he will, because he ripped Scott Walker when he had to cancel one… and this one was even for the children.

  2. Clearly Capper needs to talk to Herb Kohl, he used Chicago’s (and Barack Obama’s) own David Axelrod for his media in 1988.  And Steve Kagen, who used the same company out in DC that Ted Kennedy uses for most of his lit pieces.  And while he’s at it, he can talk to the guy Russ uses; though Wisconsin-based, who has the audacity to do an ad for a guy in Oregon.

The Cap must be one of those guys who grows his own food and never leaves his basement, thinking that he alone can sustain himself within the borders of Wisconsin.

God, no small wonder the Left back home is becoming a bunch of xenophobes about other states.  Pity their political avatars don’t practice what they preach.

  3. Please note the correction that I have entered into the body of my post:

CORRECTION: As noted by Badger Blogger, and echoed throughout the right side of the Cheddarsphere, I have incorrectly noted the base sites for the advertising agencies used by each candidate. I regret this error. Furthermore, I do stand that I am disappointed that Senator Taylor’s campaign did not use a Wisconsin Company.
