Well, you can pretty much assume that the terrorists have them by now.
Sensitive information about Marine One was reportedly found by Tiversa employees at an IP address in Tehran.
Tiversa CEO Bob Boback said a defense contractor in Bethesda, Md., had a file sharing program on one of their systems that contained highly sensitive blueprints for Marine One and financial information about the cost of the helicopter.
“We found a file containing entire blueprints and avionics package for Marine One,” Boback said.
What I am wondering, and it is not very clear in the article, is if these are the blueprints for the current Marine One or the Marine One currently in development.
The one currently under development has become quite a political football with many questioning the need to spend billions on a new helicopter in our financial “crisis”. Obama has waffled and avoided answering questions whether he would kill the project or not.
Wondering if this is another leak so they can justify spending the money on a new helicopter. The timing is a bit suspect.

.... and if the current Marine One, it is the SH-3 or the the UH-60. They probably mean the former.
I’m not sure the information does terrorists a lot of good. If they’re going to attack with SA missiles, they already know what kind of performance to expect from an SH-3 - the bird has been in service since 1960. They could probably guess what kind of avionics and counter-measures she carries.

You must have one hell of a library!

It was a senior employee that had Limewire installed on his work computer. It’s amazing that he was that stupid, but the tracking company said this happens far more than is reported and he listed off a few countries that they’ve tracked getting sensitive information from us.

Most large companies have this stuff figured out already - you’d think the government could figure out how to not let unauthorized programs on computers with sensitive information.
