  1. At least he’s not out on an inflatable boat sniping at whales like Putin.

  2. That is hillarious. Pretty much epitomises the general opinion of their differences in personality.

    Great find.

  3. Assuming it’s genuine, the photograph is horrific.    How in the name of God can you let him go out like that?

  7. Wow, grownups picking on someone for how they look.  As the link below shows, the photo was cropped to eliminate the President’s daughter, just to his left.  Obviously two entirely different photos and contexts.  Misleading, cowardl,y and just plain immature.  But hey, if that’s all you can rip on the Prez for, just shows you’re desperate.

  9. I have seen some people who are just mad for biking and they do many stunts with their bikes. These are good photographs.I like mountain biking as it is fun as well as adventures.

  10. If I am not mistaken, Obama is riding a girls bike. Even if he isn’t, kind of looks like a sissy.
And I’d rather have him sniping at whales.

  12. It’s not about how he looks, it’s about putting him in situations that are just funny.

I haven’t seen the whole picture - but even if he’s riding with his daughter - who rides a bike in a dress shirt and slacks?

  13. As usual he looks goofy.  He’s such a cute girlie man our POTUS.  Just ask the boyz in Boy Town Chicago.  They know him well, he’s a card carrying member of a popular club (Obammie & Rahm too), likes to do this “thing” or maybe it’s get his thing in the back of a limo.  Why does this matter you ask - well think about all the opportunities for blackmail to keep it quiet.  That’s why it matters.

  14. Don’t be so mad about them cropping out obama’s daughter, I see they cropped out his training wheels too. Amazing what they can do with computers these days, isn’t it? Too bad there’s nothing they can do to make him look like a man though.

  15. The only thing these photographs “epitomize” is an extremely shallow, petty and juvenile kind of partisanship.

Hey, guys… It’s funny. You know, a joke.

These photographs have nothing to do with partisanship or even politics. It is just funny. Obama looks out of place, goofy, and weird on a bike, while GWB looks like he does it everyday…

Libs need to grow a collective sense of humor, especially in times like these.

  17. Put the two of them on a basketball court together, and I’m sure Obama would make Bush look just as goofy…

    That gives me an idea.

GWB v. Barack Obama charity golf tournament. They are both pretty good golfers.

Unlike all of the denigrating photo shopped depictions of Mr. Bush, eh scott?
To be honest obama looks more like a “special needs” child, but stating that would be unduly mean to those with special needs, so I’ll just keep that to myself.

  20. If you mean pictures of Bush looking stupid, yes—it’s exactly like that.  Only at least in those instances one didn’t have to stare at it for a full minute in order to figure out what someone found interesting about it.  But otherwise, yeah.  Exactly like that.

  21. while GWB looks like he does it everyday…

Spoken like somebody who has never ridden a bike.

But good for both GWB and Obama for getting outside and enjoying themselves.

I hate to be the grumpy old curmudgeon, but bike helmets are for 7 year-olds

Or anyone who takes it even remotely seriously.

Not bad for an hypocrite, thief and traitor.

  23. Spoken like somebody who has never ridden a bike.

Don’t know what this is about…

    But.

If you must know, I am not a Lance-lite wannabe. I haven’t ridden a bike since I was 15, when I started racing motocross. I haven’t stopped with the motorcycle racing since, and really see no need to ride a bicycle. Although i do have a moped.

At any rate, the picture of the President is funny, lighten up. Sheesh.

Only at least in those instances one didn’t have to stare at it for a full minute in order to figure out what someone found interesting about it.

How could it take you a full minute to see that the President looks like a dork on a bicycle? Seriously. I saw the picture and laughed out loud, and I was in a bar. I immediately had to show all the people sitting around me, who also laughed out loud.

  24. Perhaps in the interests of presidential fashion and maintaining our image abroad, the voters should establish some guidelines for commanders-in-chief who wish to employ some pedal power.

    - Shorts, please.
    - No biking in khakis.
    - No biking in khakis especially if you are also wearing white tennis shoes.
    - In fact, no khakis and tennis shoes under any circumstance, ever.
    - Only road bikes or mountain bikes allowed, and no bikes under ten speeds, which effectively eliminates cruisers like that dorkmobile Obama is riding.
    - Wear something sporty.  Biking in a linen shirt or anything with a collar is retarded.

As someone who cares for neither of the men being discussed, one point to GWB for at least looking like maybe he actually owns a bike.

  33. Glad that some of you are enjoying the umbrella thing.  If Owen had posted it himself, some commenters would be all over him for “partisanship” or being “predictable”.

I always find it interesting to check out other blogs,  Ann Althouse (UW Madison Law Professor) and her commenters are having fun with it today:

Drudge Is Giving Obama A Hard Time This Morning

Ann labels the picture “Dumbrella”.  Check out the picture of Bush with a bike.
