Careful Here my Friend!
If McCain Picks the Mittster, will you trot out all his anti McCain
Statements? Hate to be hypocritical don’t ya?
Wow. I guess that does it for a lot of Obama supporters, and certainly helps McCain sew up the vote of the Rapture Right.
Well done.
(Sarcasm alert)
Adam, McCain isn’t after the Obama supporters anymore than The Messiah is after the “Rapture Right”. The ad is targeted toward undecideds and I think it’s not only fair game, it’s fairly effective.
Phil, c’mon man, you don’t really think for one second that Obama wouldn’t use Romney’s words in ads if he ends up being the VP runningmate?
“Better off than” what??? Editing and context is everything. I look at the end of that clip and I know (without knowing) that Biden said “better off than” someone else. If Biden had said “we’d be better off than with Obama”, that would’ve run in the ad. Cutting it off that way just trumpets the fact that the ad’s misleading.
Trotting out primary statements in a general election is a trope of campaign tactics. Too bad it still works.
Easy enough to find, Mike. I think Biden’s words speak for themselves.
I wonder what the reaction is going to be here when Obama starts running commercials with Romney’s quips about McCain.
