Beer Me

Woohoo!

The Senate approved a bill on an unanimous voice vote Tuesday that allows grocery and liquor stores to hand out samples of up to 6 ounces of free beer per day to people of legal drinking age. The Assembly was expected to take up the measure later Tuesday.

Current state law allows wineries, but not brewers, to offer up to 6 ounces of free samples.

  1. Maybe the Senate and Assembly should all make a trip to the store first then go into session and pass a ZERO increase tax and fee budget.  Opps that’s right the Dems would have to be way more than drunk to not want that 1.7 BILLION dollar increase Doylie wants.
Even several trips to the store would not help that.

    Pass me a beer

  2. While I like this law, I have to agree with Joe Leibham that the senate should be working hard on other things.

Yet they ignore vacation pay reform and the amendment to curtail the Frankenstein veto, among other things.
