Bar Patrons Defend Bar

We need more of this in Milwaukee.

Patrons inside a south side bar helped to capture two would-be armed robbers who remain in police custody today.

The two suspects, 21 and 22, attempted to rob Hank’s Again tavern, 2691 S. 7th St. about 5:40 last night, when one was grabbed and wrestled down by patrons. The other man got away and was captured a short time later. Details of his capture were not available this morning.

Police said at least one person from inside the bar suffered minor injuries during a scuffle with one of the suspects.
