At Wally World

Dan reports from the inside:

Finally, even though this Wal-Mart is located in a pretty good area of Henderson, with few section 8 housing, I am amazed at how many people are on food stamps.  Young and old, Black, White and Hispanic, male and female.  The Obama economy has really hit all segments of the Henderson community.

All in all, It’s been an interesting experience and I hope people will respect cashiers at Wal Mart or other places.  It’s not an easy job.

I’d expand Dan’s hope to include everyone. Retail is a hard business and I hope that we all show our fellow people the respect they deserve.

  2. Great link!

Wait to this cashier realizes he’s the “suuuuckerrrrrr!”

Working for his food by standing for 9 hours and taking the abuse of grinch-like old ladies?...that is so pre-Obama.

The new morality in America is to reward for not working, on the backs of those that do work.

  3. As hypocritical(maybe?) as this might sound, I have very little patience for people who treat employees like garbage…or really who treat anyone like garbage. Whatever you’re angry about, the person you’re treating like crap has very little to do with it.
