Aggies Lose To Arkansas State

Ugh…

My wife’s comment was… “that’s what happens when they let women in the Corps.”  I don’t know that that had much to do with it, but who knows? 

It’s OK… I’ll give Sherman another year to build before I start passing judgment.

  1. Wow.  My ex-father-in-law and brother-in-law (great Aggies all) must be going nuts over this.  That would be like the Badgers losing to Akron yesterday.

  2. I was there. It was terrible. The Aggies linebackers were nonexistent. ASU would run the zone read, lead blocker would go through the gap, Aggie LB would hit the lead blocker, and the only thing between their RB/QB and the endzone would be a safety.

    They were running at will for 7+ yards. That and the offense was terrible. Mike Goodson is awesome, simply for the fact that he could make anything happen with our OL looking as bad as it did.

    That being said, with a weak LB corps, I have no idea why we were running a 3-4 (!?!?) for most of the game.

    Odd. See how we do next week I guess….

  3. The Sun Belt Conference never gets any love from anyone. UT played two teams from the SBC last year (one of them a home opener against ArkSt) and was lucky to get out alive both times. Granted, some of them are chumps, but some of them play some salty football.

  4. Problem is, Sherman doesn’t have a furture HOFer running his offense. Maybe Sherman can acquire Brett Favre from the Jets to make him look like a genius again.

    Is this an inside joke?  Women have been in the Corps for 34 years, so I’m not able to make the connection.
