AFP Defend the American Dream Summit 2008

On February 9th, I’ll be a featured guest at the Defend the American Dream Summit in Pewaukee.  I’ll be there with the venerable Fred Dooley of Real Debate.

I’m really looking forward to it.  Some of the guests include:

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke
Congressman Paul Ryan
Rep. Leah Vukmir
Vicki McKenna
Wisconsin A.G. J.B. Van Hollen
Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker
President of the Wisconsin Taxpayers Association Todd Berry
President of the Lucy Burns Institute Leslie Graves,
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Patrick McIllheran
Americans for Prosperity National Policy Director Phil Kerpen
Wall Street Journal Editorial Board Member Steve Moore
Dan Schnur (one of my favorite speakers)
Mayor Steve Lonegan from Bogota, New Jersey

The event is only a couple of weeks after I get back from a cruise.  With any luck, my sunburn will have healed by then.

Follow the developments at the AFP blog.  I’ll warn you that capacity is limited and it’s already almost half full, despite a minimal advertising push.  I’d advise that you sign up now before all of the seats are full.

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever been called venerable before.

I’ll have to look deep into my adjective vault to figure out how to respond to this one.

    Looking forward to it Owen.

  2. J.B. Van Hollen

Interesting to see them reach out to non-Republicans.

  3. gulp Wow, with all those extreme right wingers, you’re not going to be plotting the next extreme right wing conspiracy here in WI, are you?

  4. Congrats Owen.  Try to have fun.

Remember, the reason they call it a “dream” is because it isn’t what’s true once you wake up.

Unless you insist on not waking up, of course—or on staying asleep.  ;^)

    Be well.
