Wendy and I are back in the land of snow and sausage after a wonderful week in one of our favorite places on earth - Roatan, Honduras. We’d been there twice before on cruises, so this time we decided to spend a week on the island. We booked a flight on Taca with a technical stop in Guatemala City and a layover in San Salvador, and enjoyed the tropical sun.
We spent some time on the beach and did some snorkeling.
We spent a little time in the dune buggy, on the wire, and with the monkeys.
We toured the island and went to some of the less traveled parts.
And, of course, we ate and drank well.
But, alas, all good things must come to an end. We caught our flight home last evening via the same route.
So… what’s been going on around here?
Welcome back. Cool photos. But that one with the Monkey is kind of gross. He has some crap hanging off his rear end.
Liberals are probably wondering how you survived consuming adult beverages not approved or regulated by the FDA.
Did you have a monkey la-la?
Why is that zip line sagging like that?
Might it be from the Port Royal and seafood in some of the other photos? Can you show us any proof that the monkey is still around?
Monkey la-las are yummy.
I agree that Monkey La-Las are yummy. mmmmm…
I’m just going to hazard a guess that the seafood didn’t suck. Looks like a fun time!
Ywah, the seafood was pretty darn awesome. Any meal in which I have to use a club to extract the meat is right up my alley.
The plate of food in that picture included two lobster tails, all that King Crab on top, a bunch of shrimp…and a baked potato.
