A Day with Baldwin

This story about Rep. Baldwin made me chuckle

Even with ubiquitous BlackBerrys, her staff sometimes struggles to stay in the loop.

“I just ran into her. She was all scattered, she didn’t know where she was,” one of her staff members said, who was trying to keep her on schedule after she “disappeared” from committee.

“She said she was going to get some soup and come up,” press secretary Jerilyn Goodman said.

Shortly after, Baldwin arrived, soup in hand, and proceeded to meet with lobbyists in her office, 20 minutes late.

  1. “didn’t know where she was”

I think they have medication for that now…

  2. It would be a great T V ad if someone runs against her.

20 min late with a lobbyist in her office.

These gifts just keep coming and no one wants to take them. Heck, anyone could use her to show what’s wrong in Washington.

It would work even in MADTOWN.

  3. Who cares of she left a lobbyist waiting? What am I missing?

  4. Nothing like a hard-hitting piece on Ms. Baldwin during a time when she’s jacking up the deficit by a gazillion dollars….

...oh wait…nevermind; it was about soup.

  5. Doesn’t, or wasn’t she going to, list all meetings she had with lobbyists on her website?
