50 Cent Switches to Obama

Once again, the rap culture celebrates infidelity

“I heard Obama speak,” he said. “He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-‘Malcolm X,’ and I swear to God, I’m like, ‘Yo, Obama!’

“I’m Obama to the end now, baby!”

  1. Once again, the rap culture celebrates infidelity.

The linked article doesn’t say a thing about infidelity. Exactly how are you making this connection? Or is it just a way to connect “Obama” and “infidelity” in the same post?

  2. Has any man remained faithful to Hillary?

The comments on the CNN blog…funny, in a sad way.

  3. 50 cent is just confused.  He spoke out in a GQ article a few years about about how much he loved George Bush.

All the more reason entertainers should shut up about politics and entertain.

  4. NYTexan,

huh?  50 Cent was “with” someone and pledged to her before switching to someone else.  That’s the infidelity to which I was referring.  Stop looking for racism or whatever where there isn’t any.

  5. The fact that CNN cares what a rapper thinks, says a lot about CNN…

Also, the fact he’s now at “Don’t Know” according to MTV says the chronic must have worn off.

  6. I fear what “the end” might mean if Obama gets the nomination and then loses in the general election.

Things had the potential to go all screwy in 2000 when Al Gore was close, and he wasn’t a charismatic or messianic figure.
