My first jump could have been more exciting.
The pilot of a skydiving plane made a crash landing in southeast Indiana after his plane malfunctioned at 7,000 feet, forcing 14 skydivers to jump from the disabled aircraft.

Skydive Greensburg owner Bob Dougherty says the pilot leveled off at 5,000 feet allowing the skydivers to jump before he returned to the Greensburg airport. Two of the skydivers were making their first jump.
I read a story today about one of my fraternity brothers who sacrificed himself to save a first-time jumper when their skydiving plane was going down. He hooked her to his harness and instructed her to land on top of him. She was the only one who lived.
