Nothing to Cut?

A reader forwarded this to me with the comment:

Owen-  With all of the Governor’s fear mongering on government shutdowns, it’s interesting that he hasn’t said anything about shutting things like this down.  Apparently he prioritizes this over our corrections department, since he’s already suggested closing prisons.  Even if one thought this sort of thing had value, is a library satisfaction survey amongst the UW LGBT community really more important than an effective corrections system?  Is this the same governor that has insisted we’ve already cut all the fat out of state government?

Greetings!

The LGBT Campus Center Graduate Librarian, Estevan Montano, is conducting a survey of UW students who identity as transgender/transexual/genderqueer/crodresser about their use, satisfaction and interest in the UW Library system at UW Madison.  If you are a UW student who identifies in the transgender spectrum, please take a moment to complete this anonymous survey.
