I admit that I’m a bit surprised.
The Milwaukee School Board voted 7 to 2 Thursday night to investigate whether board member Charlene Hardin violated the board’s code of ethics in connection with a trip she took to Philadelphia in July.
The voted then voted 9 to 0 to hire a Milwaukee labor lawyer, Dan Vliet, to conduct the investigation.
The two members who voted against the investigation were Michael Bonds and Hardin herself, who spoke out publicly for the first time, accusing the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel of “a high tech lynching” of her.
I’ll put 10 to 1 odds that the investigation declares that there was no wrong doing.
