Great Weekend

On Friday, we headed north to Appleton to watch the vaunted Wisconsin Timber Rattlers take on the Clinton LumberKings.  Clinton came out and scored 9 unanswered runs in the first two innings, but the T-Rats held them scoreless for the remainder of the game.  The final score was 9-7 Clinton.  After the game they had a fireworks show and the kids got to run the bases.  It was a great evening and very inexpensive for a family outing. 

Yesterday, we headed further north to the lake.  We swam, ate, fished, boated, ate again, canoed, shot off fireworks, and sat in the boat in the middle of the lake to watch fireworks after the sun went down.  We’re back home now, a little burnt and tired, but we had a great time.
